Meet Carolyn McHaney Waller with Benchmark Realty, LLC. She an Affiliate Broker, Real Estate Advisor, Relocation Specialist, New Home Professional and works closely with The Word Properties Group. “Awards of Excellence Winner”, Waller was previously an Affiliate Broker, Accredited Buyer Representative and New Home Specialist with Zeitlin | Sotheby’s International Realty, since 2005. She is a 16 year top achiever in the residential real estate market. Carolyn operates with passion and the highest level of professional integrity providing expert service to all her real estate clients.  Prior to joining Zeitlin, she worked for 25 years in the commercial insurance industry as a Marketing and Underwriting Specialist for Aetna Casualty and Surety, CNA Commercial, Harleysville Mutual, and Trinity Universal. In recognition for her leadership abilities for two consecutive years “1995 to 1996”, and in 1998 she received the Chairman’s Award for Excellence in sales growth and territorial management. 

Carolyn McHaney Waller is President of the Nashville Black Chamber of Commerce.  A member of the chamber since 2009, Mrs. Waller served as the Development Committee Chair responsible for developing and implementing a strategic plan to revitalize the organization. Waller is committed to the mission of the Nashville Black Chamber of Commerce and works diligently to further the vision of empowerment, education, and economic development in the Greater Nashville Regional area.

Waller holds a BS degree in Marketing and Business Management from Union University in Jackson, TN where she earned an athletic scholarship and played for the Championship Lady Bulldog basketball team.  On a personal note, she has been married to Joel Waller for 34 years and they have two lovely daughters, Lauren and Alexis.
