Nashville

Nashville is both the capital of Tennessee and the most populous city in the state with over 660,000 residents that is situated in Davidson County. Perched along the Cumberland River, Nashville is well known for being a center for industries including music, healthcare, publishing, transportation and banking. It also houses many colleges and universities including Vanderbilt University, Tennessee State and Fisk University to name a few.

Nashville’s downtown area is very active from entertainment and dining to architectural highlights. Particular areas of interest include the Broadway and 2nd Avenue areas as well as the central business district. Many multi-story towers have been built over the years beginning in 1957 with the Life & Casualty Tower. In the present day, as the local economy booms, more have been erected or are under construction. In fact, in 2017 the Nashville economy was noted as being one of the fastest growing in the country and Freddie Mac Realtors named it the “hottest housing market in the US.”
