Brentwood

Brentwood is a suburb of Nashville and has a population of over 40,000 residents. First settled by Native Americans, Brentwood didn’t really begin to grow until the time of the 1930’s. At this point homes were being purchased and restored after the war and fox hunting and horses were becoming popular.

In 1969 Brentwood had finally become incorporated as a city and this was also the year that the interstate had been built in the city which propelled much of the area’s commercial and residential growth. Shortly after the Maryland Farms office complex was created there at the site of a former horse farm and race track. In the present day Brentwood has evolved into an affluent community. The city is located in Williamson County which has been regarded as being among some of the wealthiest counties in the United States according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
